Chinese Contemporary Art
I was quite surprised with the popularity of Chinese Art ever since going on the Hong Kong Art Walk in 2006 … now with artists like Cai Guo-Qiang whose work was sold for $9.5million late last year, it seems to be quite difficult to ignore the boom in the market for Chinese Art. But I really wonder how long this sudden increase in interest can hold out for …

Above is an image of Yue Minjun’s work … I saw a copy of it yesterday in Wanchai …
Oh and I want to go to 798 in Beijing!!!!!!!!!!

Design and the Elastic Mind
I spent a wonderful Saturday afternoon with my super weird and adorable <3 at MoMA to see the new exhibition that everyone was talking about.

It’s a pretty strange exhibition that’s quite different from all the other exhibits I’ve seen at MoMA … a little overwhelming but it was worth going to.
Here’s a nice video found on youtube of course … that pretty much sums everything up!
