Sometimes … we just need to stop and look because we often forget how beautiful our surroundings can be.
Pictures taken on my iPhone.
This has been a busy month … I’ve been interning at the SCMP and trying to squeeze in more time with my family and friends (often unsuccessfully … sorry)
It makes me wonder how I’ll manage to fit all the activities that I consider ‘important’ like going to the gym in my everyday routine when I actually do start working since I can’t even find the time to do so now and I’m only an intern!
Anyway, I mainly worked on the Olympic sport by sport countdown with Angela who actually designed the whole look and feel of the thing and here’s something I helped out on!
I drew these today … and plan to draw more too so that I can make a mini series!
While on ‘holiday’ in Macau with my boyfriend, we came across some pretty interesting buildings. I love run down buildings … there is just something special about them. Maybe it is because they are all unique in the way that they have decayed … to me they are a record of time … maybe the times weren’t particularly glamorous but (as lame as it sounds) each one still tells its own story
All photos taken by me!
The scan didn’t come out as good but here’s a painting I did with watercolors and ink! If only I could paint what I feel then I’d be able to show you how important you are to me.
Just some more of my work … this was done for my Typography and Visual Design class at Parsons.
